The Practice of Happiness
July 21, 2008
Reading: Psalm 37
Another way we can help heal the church is by allowing ourselves to embrace the gift of life and practice happiness. A believer should be very happy that Jesus loves humaanity and loves them individually and personally at the same time. It is remarkable how many complainers and very unhappy, discontented, and contentious people we have in our church parishes and how many quibbles over nothing that we have. The constitution misleads everyone into believing that happiness is pursued as if it is something that having and wealth worship will get a person. But no, no, no, no!!! Happiness is practiced by being trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean and reverent at all times and not copping the plea that this is some monstrous unattainable or impossible moral standard it clearly is not… trust in the Lord, yeah trust in Him greatly…The Practice of Happiness
Wealth Worship
July 21, 2008
One way we can begin to heal the church is cast out all this wealth worshipping. God hates greed and the division it causes. Jesus threw the money lenders out of the temple it was the only time He was ever violent in any way. He also said in the sermon on the mount clearly that we cannot serve God and money. The apostle Paul wrote in one of his letters that money and wealth worship leads to whole host of evils after naming 6 or 7 evils it leads to. So it is a point of clarity and free expression of love to bring you this song. The bottom line is not the amount of money you have but the love of God and humanity that is written forever on my heart…Wealth Worship
New Genre
July 21, 2008
I created a new genre of music called “adornments” based loosely on the serenade form of melody and lyrically based on scripture devotions of the week. So you have 7 scriptures and as many rhythmic and melodic variations in the piece… see if you can pick out the bible verses!!!…New Genre

Summer Poem of a Summer Love
July 20, 2008
noisy is the calamity …
silent the retreat into fantasy…
wild imagination trips and falls on the lingering abyss for a moment
then dances in colorful strides unabated…
I begin to practrce happiness and heal from the bottom up…
my love of sinning and trouble torn from me by God’s loving kindness
And I reach for the thread that holds us all together
The spirit…
And songs, poems, essays, sermons, scripture, skills, abilities new and old,
learning, growing and Christ’s vision flow like a river of clean, cool water
soothe my hunger and thirst for righteousness and the kingdom of God…
And so it continues both day and night like my own heartbeat
The pulse of the Gospel ventures forth
and preaches the good news to modern man
of a world without end
and an almighty God who cares for us deeply…
And that is not just my imagination running away from me…
Nah Tu De Forcee
July 11, 2008
It’s a french phrase that means “don’t force your will on anyone. Weigh gentle on Jesus’s mind and on His heart and on the hearts and minds of others too.
Learn to not be heavy-handed…. and demanding and needy it’s important to be somewhat capable of taking care of yourself
before you learn to care for others…Nah Tu De Forcee
Never Too Late
July 3, 2008
The book in the Bible entitled “Joel” is a fascinating thing to put to practice for perserverance through trials and tribulations does pay off. Read the book in the bible before reading further without reading the bible because you won’t understand what is being said.
Now that you’ve read the book in the Bible entitled “Joel” listen to this sermonette especially if you believe any of the following things: 1) nothing matters 2) it is way too late to turn back to God…Never Too Late
