Money-a false god

Money can’t save you, it is a false god,
In this society money is the driving force,
and that is precisely why there is so much war, violence and unhappiness
and death…
Now Jesus threw the money lenders out of the temple,
and praised the woman who gave but one cent in the temple treasury,
it’s not what matters(money you have)
what matters is what is in your heart(love or hate)(resentment or joy)

Pray with Me

If I can touch but one soul with my prayer, my poetry, or my song
my life will not be in vain
through the sunshine, the wind and the rain
the Lord abides with us all
I can hear His call to worship even now,
amidst this terrible plague of hatred,
in this culture of death,
I hold my breath just for a moment
and pray for mercy and justice
in this world of terror for terror
sin for sin and evil for evil
I pray the cycle of violence will end
and this poem prick the heart of the faithful
and beg them to action of love and nurture
to action of conviction, confession and penance,
I pray the faithful will act out of love
and thus please the God above,
Oh turn the other cheek
and go the extra mile
stop and pray and believe
that the golden rule works…

what if we all took a day off to chant “Om”?
that would end the cycle of violence
that would end this war on terror
this would convict the culture of death
to take a breath
and repent…

Just a voice in the wilderness of internet blogs
calling out for confession and penance
and for love to conquer hate in each and every soul
If I can touch but one soul with my prayer, my poetry or my song
my life will not be in vain…Pray with Me

A word about heaven and hell

While perusing the scriptures’ teaching about Heaven and Hell, along with Christ’s many parables and the sermon on the mount I came upon Romans chapter ten. It is clear that there is a certain righteousness that occurs in a person when they proclaim Christ as Lord, and it doesn’t matter if you are Jew or Gentile or Protestant or Catholic. That you are not saved automatically if you are a Catholic as many hypocrites in the Catholic Church believe, nor will you be saved by the merits of your work or stature in society as many hypocrites in the Protestant Church believe. You won’t be saved by faith and works alone, nor by catholic priest’s blessing, just as confessing to a priest to get absolved is not a license to sin, great works is not a ticket to Heaven!!!
Romans 10 says that “the word is near you” when you proclaim Jesus as lord and saviour
and believe that He died on the cross and rose from the dead. This means we are not supposed to stay silent but rather share our experience of faith with each other and preach the gospel to non-believers that they might also be saved.
The kingdom of Heaven is now, here at hand and a certain righteousness by faith and of works occurs when we proclaim Jesus as Lord and Saviour and preach the Gospel with a clear conscience. So do not say in your heart who will go to Heaven or who will go to Hell because only God the Father knows that. Rather have a faithful obedient heart that is not full of resentment and jealousy and envy and let God heal you and mold you into a humble servant of the people. Know that you won’t be saved by the organization you belong to nor by the merits of your acheivements nor by what is in your hand or stature in society, rather we are judged by what is in our hearts whether that be love or hate…
and when you call upon the name of the Lord, Jesus places the seed of love on your heart,
and it is up to us to nurture that seed and share it with others…
