new year’s day poem with a christmas melody

inner strength itself a ridiculous thing without love and beauty,
is not gained by caving in to the desires of the devil,
who only has power over those who befriend him,
now Jesus hath declared the devil, satan, by name,
humankind’s most inveterate foe ….
so therefore say as St. Michael taught
“the Lord rebuke you Satan, go in the name of Jesus”
and resist the devil in all he wants of you
and inner strength you will develop
for love and beauty can get pretty ridiculous
without inner strength….

for He bought us with His eternal blood,
baptized us with the Holy Spirit,
and gave to us the blessing of the fellowship
of His church on Earth,
and going even further reconciled us to the Father Almighty,
who is Our Creator…
and all He says is truth,
for He also is the truth, the light and the way
On this day renounce Satan and his lusts
and find yourself very much alive in Christ Jesus,
as you have turned your back on Jesus and everything that is good,
and embraced hatred, death, false witness, and the confusions and delusions
of the devil satan,
the love of Jesus and His bride the church
and His Mother Mary,
and sends you the blessing of Christmas,
and the new beginning of 2010
and bids you to cease from cursing
and bless all those you encounter
with this same Jesus Christ

remember He has claimed you
and there surely is no escape from God, the triune Lord of everything,
turn from all evils and replace them with good deeds,
do the next right thing
and put the vices of the devil to sleep in you
and awake the music within you that blesses all God’s creation,
and reaches out for the healing hand of Jesus the Christ, Son of God
let inner strength flow through you as never before
and live in love and beauty of the fellowship divine…new year’s day poem with a christmas melody

I really like this artist and have been considering making a playlist of their past album for a future write-up.

Got something to say?
